I'm working on some imagery in the multichannel mode, which as you may know, does not support layers.

My question is, what is the best way to experiment with different layouts and compositions when using this rather unflexible colour mode?

Is it best to work the layout out first in another colour mode which supports layers, and then import each element into the multi-channel file, once I've decided on my final composition?

Or is there a better way?

Hey again... lol

I use the layer composition like you mentioned above to create and then transfer to the channels that I like. If your doing a 2 color job, for instance, then you can always use a 4 channel multi and have two channels be one color and two be another. Then you can edit them in the channel pallet as needed.

Thank for the tips again Kyle!

You pretty much confirmed what I thought. Thanks!
