Can someone help me with this please.
I have a graph/chart that I need to include on a report.

I have created a query with the columns of data that I need to graph. On my report in design view I click on insert chart. Then another screen pops up and asks me which query I would like to use for the chart. So then I select the query. Then another screen pops up and asks me What fields contain the data I want for the chart? So I select the fields. Then the next screen pops up and asks me what kind of chart I would like. In my case I would like a line graph. Then another screen pops up and lets me place the data I want to use for the graph in the proper box. Well when I click finish.... a whole different chart is placed on the report ~ That has East West and North, in the X axis and 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th quarter as the legend for the data. So then I click on the graph.... and sure enough the data for 1st Qtr 2nd Qtr 3rd Qtr and 4th Qtr are there in a datasheet. How do I get the graph to display my data ~ not this other East West ~ data.

I'm confused. I thought the chart wizard was suppose to help make charts simple. This wizard isn't much of a wizard at all.

You can view the datasheet view of your chart's Row Source property and copy it to the clipboard. Then open the design view of your chart, view its datasheet and delete the "records". Then paste your actual data into the datasheet. I'm not sure why MS doesn't have this updated automatically.
