Hello-
I have my phone system set up so a caller can press 1 for 'floor 1', 2 for 'floor 2', etc- 1 rings ext. 11, 2 rings ext.13. Recently, I've had my classic mail hardware replaced, and had to re-do the call routing. Previously, if one pressed 1, it would ext. 11, if occupied, it would ring ext.12, and NOT go into voicemail. How do I add a second extension in call routing (eg., 1 would ring 11, then 12, 2 would ring 13, then 14....)? Thanks!!!!!

First off, there is more than one way to make this happen.

The "Usual Way" is for extension 12 (in this case) to have a "DELAYED COVER" Button for 11.

If this is the way it's really being done, then you can add a cover button for 11 (NOT 12) on another extension to be the second "cover point" for 11.

Thanks- I thought it was something to do in the Classic voicemail programming- and not at the individual voice terminal. I'll give it a shot. Thanks!!!!!!
