I would like to have some information in relation to this job i got from my manager. I have been called to another office to do some investigation. apparently someone turned off something in backupexec so it didnt' do its job right. and now the server is crashed (due to hard disk failure) only way out of this is to rebuild the server from scratch. I have been asked to see if i can identify who/when this changes happend to the backupexec. and if i can get anything out of the log files.

However, I have no idea which log files i should check and where they are located. I was hoping if someone could point me to the right direction.

apparently they use win2003 server with backupexec 10. I know this may not be easy but i have to do something as this job came from my manager.

cheers,
babak
