Have setup my SMTP server. It sends email to the internet successfully. However, the address format is very long "John_Doe/us/acme%ACME@acme.com". Why is this. All I want is either "JDoe@acme.com" or "John_Doe@acme.com". WHAT DID I DO WRONG? CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLESE..

Thanks.
Gene

Pet..
Thanks for your info. I am using version 5.05. I finally figure it out. Like you said, I enter the user's email address (which is the same as the short name) in the internet mail address section. That worked. But, why is it doing that?

Well if you read the document in my second post, it explains how the name conversion works...

Best Regards
