Help with Action writting

I have an Action that creates a symbol on top of a picture. What I want to be able to do is after the symbol is created it will automatically re-size the symbol based on a percentage of the picture height and then automatically center the resized symbol in the center of the picture.

Hi,

Download the scripting support for photoshop then write a Javascript action to do what you need. That is the only way you can retrieve info like image width and height in variable format to do calculations for placement of your other image.

I can't find the address just now to where you can download the scripting support or the manual but it is on the adobe site. I will try to locate a link for you. If I can't find it then mid next week once I have moved into my new house I can post it on my website for you to download.
