Hi guys & gals,

I have an image that is of the side of a car and it has a number 1 on it. I am wanting to get this to change into a text character 1 in a normal type font, say Arial for example.

Can I do this using a tween? - I had thought a shape tween, but can't get it to work.
What would be the best method for singaling out the 1 from the rest of the image?

This is the URL of the image I want to use..
Thanks for any tips and advice.

Anthony

Not sure what you're after here..
If you want to isolate the '1' from the BG and then morph that '1' into an editable character then i guess you could treat the car as two seperate images.. i.e. crop out the '1' in pshop and drop the images in as two images on the stage, align and then trace bitmap the '1' image.. this can then be morph tweened into the editable version.

What exactly are you actually trying to achieve though?

Yeah thats pretty much what I'm trying to do.

And sort of what I've done so far. I haven't tried the trace bitmap thing though so hopefully that will sort out what I am trying to do.

Thanks,
Ant

hoorah!! I finally got round to trying this last night, and with a bit of jiggery pockery it worked. Does just what I want it to do!

Thanks for your help!
