Hi,

A very helpful programmer helped me identify a search form issue that would be solved by converting a folder to a subweb. I did that but when I try to publish my website to the server I am continuously asked to input my user name and password to the server for the subweb. I already entered it for the parent web to begin the publish process. My password and usernames won't be accepted for the subweb. When I called, the hosting company said that this a Frontpage issue. Does anyone know about this?

To be a subweb your host must make a folder that is your subweb a FrontPage publishing web. That means that folder (presumably the existing subfolder within your main Web folder) has to have the proper FrontPage Server Extensions (FPSE) set up for it.

Sounds to me like your host is not very experienced with FPSE. Dave [idea]
