I need to write a simple script in VB for MS Great Plains 2010 but I have never worked with VB before. While it doesn't seem difficult I do not know where to begin. All I need to do is move focus to the 'description field' and populate it with a simple sentence(Call admin before restarting system), leaving the cursor in that field after the text.
When the account is brought up service will hit the "New Call button" which brings up another screen with various fields relating to the account. There is a 'description' field which is basically a notes field. This is the field I must do this in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
