Help with a rounded rectangle around an image

Hi,


I would now like to know how to create a rounded rectangle around an image

I have an image as follows


How do I create a rounded rectangle around this with a stroke on it.

I presume it would be created in photoshop.

Any ideas has to how to point me in the right direction. Would be most appreciated

or, if you're using some kind of page layout software like Quark - put it in a rounded corner box and set the stroke value and color as desired. Can also modify the radius of the corner.

Additionally, use the shape tool on a different layer, then copy the image and paste inside.

You can create rounded rectangles in Photoshop.

In Photoshop 7's Tool Bar, it's the ninth button down (under the Type Tool). Button is called Rectangle Tool but if you hold the button, you get a flyout on which there is the Rounded Rectangle. You can vary the radius of the corners, make the shape into a path or selection and therefore add a fill, stroke or feather its edges etc.
