Hi everyone,

I am running Mail Security for Exchange by symantec. Can someone tell me why does Inetinfo.exe start and takes up the cpu to 100%? I cant do anything with the exchnage server when this happens. Mail will not go through and people cant send e-mail. The que will get so klogged up aswell.

The only way out of this is if I go to safemode and go to the registry and do the fallowing:

hkey_local_machine
System->services->MSexchangeIS->virus scan

Set virus scan value to 0.(I have to set to Zero or else the cpu time will be 100%, once I have restarted the exchange server)

I know it has something to do with the Mail Security for Exchange by symantec, because I called microsoft and they told me to check with symantec. Some one please help?

Most appreciative,
:)
