We are confused.

We are trying to create a Crystal Reports 8.5 report that, when opened in Enterprise, will display a dialog box requesting a date range. Data, based on the date range entered, will be pulled from a particular field.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,

Jeremy

Create a date range parameter field in the crystal report and add something like the following to the record selection criteria:

{MyTable.MyDateField} = {?MyDateParm}

Now import the report into CE, and make sure that you check the "Prompt the user for new value(s) when viewing" for each parameter under the parameters tab, and then select the Update button.

synapsevampire,

Thanks for the post. I tried what you said, & I got the following (after refreshing):

Crystal Reports: Database Error

ODBC error: [MERANT][ODBC Informix driver]Unrecognizable ODBC SQL escape sequence.
