Hi all

I have an excel spreadsheet in ColA i have a date in ColB ihave a date

A B
1-May-2004 1-June-2005

In ColC I want to put if B1-364 days is greater than A1 then A1+364 days

Is anyone able to help me out

Many thanks

What have you tried so far? You haven't said what you want the result in C1 to be if B1-364 isn't greater than A1.

Cheers, Glenn.

...also

be CERTAIN that you have REAL DATES.

if(b1-364>a1+364,"answer1","answer2")

remove the "" if your answers are numerical

Dates typed in most of the formats ie dd/mm/yy, dd-mm-yyyy etc will be interpreted automatically as a number even if the cell is in text format. Need to be a bit more carefule if your pc is american format and the date is eu format.
