Help with 3250 Mux, L700 and Sun 4500

We have the following config.
L700e with LTO tape drives, connected to Sun 4500 running Solaris 8 with latest patches. The Sun has jni fiber cards running to a STK 3250 Fiber Mux/bridge, then FWD SCSI to the LTO drives.

Our problem. The Sun machine can see the LTO drives from the boot prom, but can not see them once the machine is booted. Sun has had us make a number of changes to the jni.conf and st.conf files to no aval. STK seems to be stumpted.

Any ideas?

I see that a lot of entries requiring help, after someone has keyed a good tip or help, the originator never actually come back and say whether the advice helped or not. I find this extremely bad manners indeed. This entry is a typical example........! It certainly does not help other users and shows a fairly childish mentality....
