Help, what is a PCI simple commucation controller

I keep getting it popping up, and cannot detect or find a driver for it, can I unisntall or do need, and what is it.... I am sorry really really stupid with computer.... I also cannot get my hardware detected from my soundcard plug'n'play card, does this also have something to do with the PCI communcations controller. And how can I find out what type of PCI simple controller, I have? HELP!! HELP!!
