Can anyone help?
We switched over to InDesign about a month ago and have finally gotten use to is after years of Quark.
However, sometimes our fingers are too quick when hitting shortcuts on the keys and weird stuff happens.
On deadline yesterday, I must have hit something and here's what happened:
When I click to type in a box, the curser moves, but it's blank where the type should be. Only when I highlight it does the type show up.
And, no, it has nothing to do with the swatches (at least, we can't find any connection), as all the proper "black" designations are on.
And when I try to highlight the entiire text manually, using the mouse, it will not highlight the first letter.
Finally, when the text does appear and I position curser right before first letter and then beging deleting the first word via backspacing, the entire paragraph disappears!
Any idea what I may have done?
Thanks in advance!
