Help Wanted Desparetly!!!!!6400 on 5.1

Dear All
I have been assigned a challenging task of configuring a 6400 network printer
on AIX5.1 for a customer
I just followed 6400 printer manual and begin to get printing but with two problems
1.First i am getting some characters at the start and end of each print jobs.In between
these characters else is finely printed.
2.There is an exact delay of 19 seconds before any job get printed on the printer.
For 19 seconds jobs appearing waiting in the queue and then get printed.
I have twice checked all steps....follow the 6400 printer manual and find nothing execpt that O/s has now changed to 5.1 from 433 and nothing specific about AIX5.1 present in that manual.
So if you have ideas please help me to solve that problem.

Have you checked the filesets for the printer? Were they updated when the OS was updated?

I have installed the required 6400 printers software...this is indicated by the fact that i was able to create 6400 printer queue....as if you have created 6400 printer queue you know that when you are going to create 6400 queue it will first install required software and then allow you to proceed further.
Now the problem is that i have posted query for my question at nearly each forum but do not get any response....and really telling you that i was filled with joy when get a response on this forum.
Can any body else on this forum help me and guide me!!!!!!!
