I have tried many times to install WIN2000 Server. I have installed it on one of my computers fine. But the other computer keeps coming up with an error that states the the following file is either corrupt or missing....{windows 2000 root}\system32\ntoskrnl.exe. Is there anyone out here that can help with this problem.

Thanks,

OP

This problem usually occurs because the BOOT.INI file points to the wrong location for the Windows NT operating system. Of course, if your BOOT.INI file looks correct, it's always possible that your NTOSKRNL.EXE file really is corrupt.

Try a search on using "ntoskrnl.exe" as search string...

Are you getting the error during the install process or at first boot ? Peter Van Eeckhoutte
