HELP!! VPN losing connection after 2 mins!!!

In our company we have SBS2000 and have setup a vpn using RRAS

However although we can connect to the VPN from any outside machine (98/2000/XP) and any intrnet type (dial-up/broadband), the connection to the VPN is always lost after a couple of minutes. I can't find any timeout settings that could be causing this and it is becoming increasingly important that we get this VPN working.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

2 things: first look at your groups time-out setting
and second make sure you enable "disable keep alive" in your option drop down menu from the Nortel VPN client.
