Help! Video capture

Hi,

can anybody tell me how to capture motion image from a webcam. Also, I wanna store the motion picture as .mpeg/.avi.
Anyhelp is greatly appreciated.

Also, if you find out how to do this mohan...please e-mail me, I have a USB Live! cable that I use to hook up to my TV...it's listed as a webcam, and I would like to set something up so I might be able to record mpegs and stuff through there...and mainly I need it to import video tapes of some stuff through the VCR...(paintball team stuff)
