I have been advised by a seasoned pro to post my question here and I thank everone for any help they can provide...
From my VB 6.0 post.
I am an extreme newbie at attempting to script out results that can not easily be set up with default mail accounts in Outlook 2000, so I am begging on the good graces of the experienced programmers out there !
What I would like to do is the following and would appreciate greatly being pointed in the right direction.
I need to set up resource accounts for my conference room, training room, projector and laptops. I need for a user to be able to e mail these resource accounts and have the resource calendar post the reservation if accepted and e mail a reply confirming, or if the resource is busy reject the reservation and e mail the notice stating that and optimally proposing a new time. As a grand finally I would like these resource calendars to automatically post to my Intranet.
I have read quite a bit on how to accomplish this through code, but how to stich it together seamlessly escapes me. Or is there a way to make this all happen with rules or on the Exchange server ?
Thanks,
Toad
