Hello,

CM 7.1 with main in Boston and an LSP in London.

All stations (BOS/LON) register to Boston during sunny-day operations.

EC500 being used to redirect calls successfully to domestic (US) mobile numbers. No problemo.

What I cannot get my head around is how to redirect calls to mobile numbers in the UK.

STATIONS WITH OFF-PBX TELEPHONE INTEGRATION

Station Application Dial CC Phone Number Trunk Config Dual
Extension Prefix Selection Set Mode
5555 EC500 - 44 7755555555 ars 1

I end up with denial event 1191: Network failure D1=0xe0002 D2=0x26
Or SIP<SIP/2.0 404 Not Found (No route available)
Then the call drops into user's Aura messaging voicemail box.

Where to start unraveling this? My guess is that it is carrier-related or I'm presenting the wrong digit strings to the carrier (Masergy).

The latter feels more likely.

Thanks and be safe.

Joe

Are you mapping it the same as you would call it from on site?

Hi and thanks for answering.

We would typically dial from stations in Boston:
9 011 44 <the number>

9 for outside line
011 for intenational
44 for United Kingdom
then the number itself

No combination seems to be passing through to our SIP trunks with Masergy.

I'm trying 9,011 and +44 and prepending the country code to the mobile phone number itself.

Trying also to force the calls out the Boston SIP trunk group instead of the London SIP trunk group.

SORTED IT OUT!

Station Application Dial CC Phone Number Trunk Config Dual
Extension Prefix Selection Set Mode
5555 EC500 44 - 7755555555 tg77 1

set the dial prefix to 44
Forced the trunk group to TG77 (Boston) because it was going out TG13 (London) which I'm assuming the London SIP trunks could not make sense of.

When I made this change and called my colleague's extension it rang though to his mobile and woke him from a sound sleep.

All good. Thanks.
