I am new to VB, but wish to call my Crystal reports from inside a VB program.

I have absolutely no idea of how to do this, although I now it can be done. Is there anyone who can help me. Please tell me I have other options.

I am using Crystal Reports Version 8 and VB 6.

If you have CR 8 installed, you can use it in VB6 by adding the Designer component to your VB6 IDE through the IDE menu: Project, Components, Designers Tab, and checking Crystal Reports 8.

Once the reference is there, you can now Add Crystal Report 8 to your project (just like a form or module), and subsequently the CR 8 wizard will help you create the viewer form and component set up.

If you have the Crystal Reports Version 8 Developer Edition,
There should be many examples in the "C:\Program Files\Seagate Software\Crystal Reports\Samples\Code\Visual Basic" directory
