Hello all...

I need some help using Adobe Illustrator, I have had experience using photoshop but my newest venture requires me to use illustrator.

Here is my issue. I have a .EPS file that I need to change names/address on for different people in the company. They have a template already made and what not... When I open the .EPS and I open the layer it lists all the objects as groups.

How do I select the <group> that holds the name and address and edit it??

Cheers!

...if the text is not a font but a shape, you won't be able to...

...you will have to load the font and type out the text you need...

...once it's open, go to type > find font, if nothing is listed it will be vector text (shapes)...

...and in answering your question about groups...

...to ungroup objects, go to select > select all...

...then object > ungroup...
