I removed a 4x20 mailbox card and installed a 4x40 card and now system states "I have only 10 mailboxes". What is the correct procedure for this upgrade?

System = Partner ACS RLS=5
Mail = Partner Mail VS RLS=4

Thanks for any help.

I forgot this info...
Comcode on 4x40 unit = 107884371

The Partner Mail VS system's default configuration is 10 mailboxes, so it looks like the voicemail system does not recognize the new expansion card.

Try putting the old card back in and see if the system reverts back to a 20 mailbox arrangement. If so, the new card is bad. If the system no longer recognizes the original card then the voicemail module has gone bad.

If the voicemail module is bad, it might be worthwhile to upgrade to the Avaya Partner Messaging platform. More voicemail boxes, more recording time, more features (but a bit more expensive).

Thanks Dexman,
I put the 4x20 PC card back and did have 20 available. The card must be bad.

Thanks again,
