How do you prevent unix commands (e.g. clear, ls, rmdir etc) to trigger the eof and eeof status in the text entry box??
Plsease HELP!!!!

I didn't respond to your earlier request for help on this, edwong, because quite simply I have no idea what you're asking. What "eof" and "eeof" status, and what text entry box? I thought you might be talking about the Console window that appears on Window and Macintosh systems with an interactive wish session, but I've never noticed any "eof" issues when executing interactive commands there. And anyway, you said Unix commands, so it sounds like you're on a Unix system. And then I thought you might be talking about the text widget. But the text widget is simply a widget for displaying and editing multiple lines of text. It doesn't do anything when you type in a Unix command, or anything else for that matter, unless you've programmed it to do so.

So, there seems to be a lot more to your situation than you're telling us. - Ken Jones, President, ken@avia-training.com
