I'll try to keep this short. If I leave out needed info please let me know and I'll fill in.
Since the hub site moved from US to Canada (stayed with Sprint)

Hub site in Toronto is 3Mb ATM going into Sprint Frame.
Cdn Site#2 is 256K port with 128 cir. Using iperf in dualtest mode (bi-dir)I can push well over cir simult.

US Site#3 has full 1.5 Frame with 768 cir. iperf dualtest only gets me ~800/800 (just rounding off). Unidirectional test can get 1.2 whether in to or out of site.

I believe iperf has a 1.5Mb limit. Could this be the reason for not getting more thruput on dualtest tests?

Or maybe I'm confused and 1.5 is the total usable bandwidth shared across both directions.

Sprint has checked both Cdn and US switches in the path as well as the NNI.

Just wanted to add that pre-existing circuits that ran USsite to USsite under Sprint US contract had 0 cir and we never had a problem. Unfortunately USsite#3 was a new install so I can't compare to previous traffic.

I just realized I have a couple of US-US 512K circuits that don't go to new hub site and should run iperf tests to see what I get.

Will leave this msg here and go try it.

Any help in clarifying some of this would be much appreciated.

Kevin
