Help to set up an external MSR in Aloha 6.7

hi, a customer ask me set up an external MSR (magtek) in their ncr p1220, aloha 6.7... i already install device, recognizes usb port, but cannot read any kind of magnetic card , i open notepad and even other program using win and msr recognizes device and reads track, but they cannot receive any command when swipe a manager magnetic card in the reader when uses aloha and cashier program...

go to control panel try to enable but the options are keyboard merge, opos msr, if select opos msr ask for a name,

anybody can help me?

The external usb mag swipe would need its own OPOS drivers to work

wolaaaaa!!

i do not understand but i choose "Keyboard merge"option , then set up MSR to keyboard mode then works... user can swipe an authorization magnetic card to make a discount, arrange a special order, or even administrative functions in aloha...
only one thing...notepad opens and shows "warning msr is on mode keyboard and could be unsafe.." but no tracks display...

so strange and cool...
