HI, I have a question. What is the difference between sales trx entry and invoice entry?
What is the result when I use sales trx entry? and what is the result when I use invoice entry?

thank you.

The sales entry only allocates the quantity in the order while invoice takes the quantity out which decreases your on-hand.

Invoice Entry is the Invoicing Module.
Sales Order Entry is the SOP module.

We use Invoice Entry with a 3rd party product and SOP for all our other invoicing. Invoicing has different tables in the database (IVC) and Sales Order Processing uses SOP tables.

Invoicing is not available for Multi-currency (or at least it wasn't when we bought it). I also think support is eventually going to be discontinued on Invoicing when version 6.0 support is finished.

I hope that is what you were asking.

Thanks!
Barb E.
