I submitted a previous post trying to get sound on my ibm thinkpad T60, I read a post where it said to restore defaults in bios.......did that and saved and now I can't even boot up. It mentions something about hardware changes, when I choose "boot from last known good config" I receive a 5 second text message about "windows has been shut down to prevent damage" then goes back to the same boot choice page. I figured I would reload XP but I get the message that their is no hard drive. I'm lost. Any help would be appreciated. I do not have the start up disk or any discs since it was a laptop from where I used to work.

It was fine except for the no audio before I selected default settings in bios.

Thanks
