Help Summit 24 cant reset password!!

Anyone know how I can reset the login and password for a summit 24 unit?

Just out of curiosity is the summit 24 cli similar or comparable to the 200-48 etc....If so I believe your command would be config account user (account name).

With a console connection, hold the space bar down and boot the switch, this should get you to a bootrom menu, then hit 1, 3 d, f and it will reboot the switch in factory default mode. you can then login to the switch with admin and no password. note, if the os is older ther 4.1.x then you will need to do a serial image transfer to the switch before this option will clear the password
