Help! Submit a form to an email?

Hey I need help with getting a SUBMIT button to send a readable form to an email. Right now when a user clicks SUBMIT it sends a file with a .ATT attachment to my email. I can't read that file type so what can I do?

Hi,

You will want to use a server side language like PHP to do this.

Simply get the variables from your form and then assemble them in a script and then do the mail function to send it off.

You could read that filename (.ATT) if you renamed it to (.txt).

You could try a simple FormMail script, they are all over Tek-Tips. The one I use is from Matt's Script Archives, It's been around for years. Very easy to use, online help, etc....
