Help!! Stupid User Problem

I removed the domain settings from my Windows2000 PC by adding a workgroup. After the reboot,I am unable to log into the pc even with domain/userid & password. Is there a way around this if I don't know the admin password other than a re-image? I tried booting up in safe mode was unsucessful, I have no 2000CD on hand.

A Domain Administrator can re-add the machine to a Domain once you make the connection.
