Hello all,
I've been having some difficulty opening a secured database with the getobject function. I've found an article on the Knowledge Base regarding this (Q192919) which seems to give me the answer - use the Shell command.
However, I can't seem to get the command line instructions to work as it says in the document. Here's what I've got so far:
x = Shell(application_path & " " & databasepath_and_name & " /Nostartup /user " & User & " /pwd " & password & " /wrkgrp" & workgroup,vbminimizedfocus)
At the moment I keep getting an error in the access application - "command line used to start Microsoft Access that Microsoft Access Does n't recognise
Any Ideas??
thanks,
Craig
