Help saving with transparencies on psp 9

ok this is whats happening to me. I'm trying to make a sig. i remove a backgrond with the back ground eraser. and then i save it to a gif. but when i go to look at it it says its a psp image.and if a save it as a psp image its say is cannot be displayed. can you guys please help?

The best way to save is a gif is by using the gif optimizer (File - Export - Gif Optimizer).

In PSP9: Go to - Filr -> Preferences -> Color Management -> Uncheck Enable Color Management
