HI i would like to seek some help regarding the roaming profiles.First let me give you guys a backgrounf of my network. I have 20 -30 computers in a network includine 5 laptops in there. All have diferent operating systems. Some are windows NT, 98, 200 ,ME and XP. The type of profile we use are roaming profiles. So that means all the profiles are stored in our server. And our email handler is outlook express.
mY questions are:

1. I know that there would be a problem when logging on to different operaitng system bec. each os stores it's profile on a different folder...does it affect the email addresses too? because some here looses their email when logging on a different computer? How can it be prevented?

2. What is the email addresses capacity of the address book of the outlook express?

3. Can anyone here give me a reference where i can fully study the problems dealing with emails regarding roaming profiles?

thanks a lot!

We've got the same problem at work.

The best solution is to use terminal services to connect to 1 server that has all the profiles stored on it. That way it doesn't matter what OS the user has, as they are just using 95/98/2000/xp etc to connect to "their PC on the network".

Their Pc on the network is just the server.
