Hello

I have renumbering all extension and there is errors
I change extension in user form also i change the mapping between id and extension in extension form

After merge the configuration, The IPPhone restart and auto change to new ext. And after I unplugged / plugged the adaptor, the IPPhone is also auto login to new ext.

The problem is when the IPO restart, the IPPhone is not auto login , and the display is back to old ext

I have do clear and reset the IPPhone and login using new ext.
As long as IPO not restart the phone is login with new ext

Do I miss something ?

Knowledge?
The IP Phones stores the extesion number once entered in the phone. If "Autocreate extension" for VoiP extensions is enabled the phone will register with that initial number.
There are a few ways to erase the number:
1 disable "Autocreate extension" and make sure the old extension is deleted or renumbered. When the phone finish the reboot it will ask for a extension number, now enter the new number
2 "CLEAR" the phone
3 when the phone is registered press MUTE"LOGOFF" and the phone de-register from IP Office and asks to loging, the old number is displayed, enter the new extension number and login.

i still try to figure out how the concept is and trying to make sure what is on my mind :)

i know there is an option to auto create h323 ext and in my mind perhaps that is the problem
the phone will try register using the old one , because IPO allow auto create, that's why phone will register using old ext

thank you for clearing this problem :)

got to relogin 100 ext .. whew..

In the past you could assign a extension number to a MAC address, would make life a bit easier. Now you have to walk to each extension.
