My Application Log keeps filling up every other day with the following EventID:
Event Source: MSExchangeIS
Event ID: 9515
Two objects in the Directory have the same proxy....
I've checked out the MS Article below:
This MS article explains how to use the Ldifde utility to search and remove bad proxies. I'm new to Ldifde.exe (and windows command line in general), so I tried the following string to pull up ~ANY~ SMTP addresses:
ldifde -f badproxies.txt -d "dc=domain,dc=com" -l proxyaddresses -r "(proxyaddresses=*smtp:*@*)"
Not a single address was found.
When 'they' set up AD, the users were placed in a new group folder instead of the default users folder. Could this have something to do with it?
Pardon my lack of knowledge, but I'm not well versed in Exchange (though I wish to be) and I have to solve this myself. I also have a user that is not getting email delivered, and I am convinced that this error is the cause.
