does anyone know what the command RC1 does??
Ityped the command in error.
there is no reference in MAN

I dont know what this means

You probably ran a script called rc1 which will take the system to state 1.

I am not sure which state your system is in presently.
If you can't get access to the affected system from any other host than I would stop -a the system and then reboot.

It should fsck all the file systems and be okay.

If you look do a more on /etc/rc1 you see what this script does.
 
Once I Find the Script how do I view it ??

Sorry I know ZERO about UNIX
 
1. cd /etc
2. more rc1 ( This will put the data to your screen.)
