Hallo ,

I have an urgent problem.
Networker has problem with loading tapes for the needed pools and using them for the backups. Networker
always writes an error message which says that the "Volume ID" was not found in the media index.
But I determinesd it with following steps.
- load a tape without reading the label
nsrjb -ln -S 164 -f /dev/rmt/3mnb
- read the volume ID
scanner -v /dev/rmt/3mnb
...
scanner: scanning dlt7000 tape 000084 on /dev/rmt/3mnb
scanner: volume id 1735856641 record size 131072
...

Read the volume ID from the media databse
mminfo -mvV |grep 000084
000084 43 GB full 4376 MB 214 35 GB 1735856641 242 dlt7000

So you can see, that Networker has loaded the correct volume.
Because of this, Networker is busy just with mounting and dismounting and it is blocking the other backups. Aftereffect that our
backups are hanging and that our database will have problems because the backup of the archives doesn't work. I also tried following.
1. unload all tape to their devices if they are loaded and stop any group
that may be running
2. shutdown the networker daemons (nsr_shutdown)
3. run nsrck -F
4. start Networker daemons (/etc/init.d/networker start)
5. wait for a while (2-5 minutes)
6. run nsrck -L6
7. shutdown daemons
8. start them back
9. run again nsrck -L6 and nsrim -X after nsrck
10. run nsrjb -Iv for complete inventory of the jukebox
11. enable devices and then the groups
But no effect. Please be so kind and help me.
