HELP ! "Unable to recover password on Bay 28115/ADV switch"

I have done the following:
console into it, power cycle, at prompt, CTL B, a
Ctl Y, N, Ctl E, T

when I get to this step, the switch answers with the following:

WF @ ERROR

what can I do to recover the password ??

thanks !
