I am running Win 98_se on two computers and I installed in my PC a "Linksys EtherFast 10/100 LAN Card", and in my Laptop I have a "3Com EtherLink 111 LAN PCMCIA Card"which states that it is for 10Base-T and Coaxial Cable. I have a crossover cable to connect both computers. When I connect the "Link/ACT "LED on the PC lights up, and the LED on the PCMCIA Dongal lights up.All is fine so far. Now the problem. When opening Network Neighborhood I only see the computer that I am on I cannot see both in either machine.I have opened control panel\network and configured both the same.Is there something that I am missing?

Problem solved!!!! Seems I didn't have both using the same protocol. Now with both using TCP/IP all is well.
