I have been using veritas for backups for the last year. Even though the tapes have been changed every day and my tapes on a 3 weekly cycle, i only appear to have back up data from April.

Our server has gone down and i now only have the april data. Has anyone else had the same problems if so how did you get round it.

Are you saying that all tapes since April have no data on them?

If this is the case where the backups not checked! If the tapes are blank! sorry the data is lost!
