HELP PLEASE! Setting Formula to Basic Syntax with CR 7

Does anyone know how to set the syntax of a formula to Basic using Crystal Reports 7? I have CR 8 but am trying to help someone with CR 7. CR 8 provides a drop down list box in the formula box to set the formula language to Basic or Crystal syntax. How can we do this using CR7?
