Just had the KSU in for checkup, including DTIB cards, of which I have two. System used to have 20 stations. Can't get KSY to recognize, for example 108 and up. I programmed the DTIBs with FLASH 24 and resent with #8 on SW5.
Thanks

Thanks for your post.
System is STS, from 8 yrs ago.

Usually, that indicates that the cards have not been programmed and the system reset, but you mentioned that you have done that. Does the system time/date stay programmed when you reset the system?

Have you tried connecting to the serial port and seeing if the cards appear in maintenance?

Jacksonville Florida Telephone Systems

I have not tried connecting to the serial port. I don't have a hyperteminal, as far as I know.
Not sure if I reset correctly. Only way I knew how is the cycle dipswitch #8 on SW5. Of course that "dumped" the database. Perhaps I was doing RESET incorrectly. I had to reprogram sta 100-107. I did this using #18 below. Then tried 108...error tone.
I know the stations are seeing the KSU because their display reads the following:
LKD-24BD VO.3
SCOUT DX V1.1 OK SYNC

The following is from programming
I need, however, to have KSU "talk" to stations.
Thank you...and if I were near your location I would pay you to come and program for me. I'm in opposite part of USA.

18. Flexible Button Programming
* * 3226
Flash 50 Enter range to be programmed (100108) or HOLD for all Stations.
Flash 51 Enter station number, HOLD for just one station. (101 HOLD)
Press Flexible Button 20 for Page B. Flexible Button 11, for Flexible Button Programming. Press Flexible Button 14 to review programmed buttons.
Examples:
Dial 24 4 440 (This makes Button 24 Voicemail 440)
Dial 06 1 001 (This makes Button 6 CO Line 1)
Dial 20 2 (This makes Button 20 Loop Button)
Dial 19 3 01 (This makes Button 19 Pool Line group 1)
Dial 15 0 (This makes Button 15 Flex button user changeable, “Open”)
To program Last number redial.
Example: Button 21 used as Last Number Redial
Dial 21 4 650 HOLD (Button 21 is now Last Number Redial)

BTW I just found RESET and did it. No luck.
I was also able to set and retain the following:
CO 1 and 2 and 3-all sta's
Voicemail
Last Number Redial
LED when ringing
various frequencies ringtones
Querying Flash 24 and card locations:
It recognizes Voicemail, DTIB and another DTIB

So I know it will retain settings
Searching thru manuals and online.
Frustrating

So in Flash 24, you have slots 3 and 4 programmed for "02", which is DTIB?

Just so I'm clear, Dip Switch 8 is in the off position, correct? In other words, it is in the opposite direction from the other 7 switches.

YES Flash24 02 DTIB
#8 is off...opposite

And sure enough, after I found how to reset, sta's #s 108 and up are working,
Thanks.

#637 turns on the blue display, but NOW only when activity.
I previously had the wholesystem programmed to toggle between OFF-ACTIVITY-STAY ON.
Ideas ????
Looks like I'm getting it together.
BTW my previous key system was an old Vodavi analog system 2448 using the old 616 keysets.
Thank you for your kind help and encouragement.
