Hi, I've just started a new job and im required to have a basic understanding of SQL, I've mastered basic commands like select, insert, update, create, delete - but would like to further my knowledge a little bit more. Anyone know of SQL commands which wouldnt be too taxing on a beginner? I appreciate your help :)

you've covered select, insert, update, create, delete?

there is only one more -- alter -- although you won't find it very often in an Access shop

here's an idea

set up a one-to-many relationship between two tables

in the "many" table, have one of the columns be a unique datetime column

now write a join query that returns only the latest row from the "many" table for each row in the "one" table
