Help! PIX Firewall keeps going down

Hi,
For the last couple of weeks, the pix firewall I manage has been going down every couple of days or so. A reboot is all it takes to get it back up again, but obviously I need al ong-term solution. Any thoughts of what could be going on, and what I could do to prevent this? ALl of the workstations have the latest virus signatures. Is it possible that it may be a denail-of-service attack?

4 are you sysloging?

Are you doing tcp syslogging?

If you terminal into the console, does it respond?
