HELP!!! Photoshop 7 Quit Working...

Okay, so I have had Photoshop 7 installed and running on my computer for quite some time now. I am running Windows XP Professional Edition, and have had no problems up until today.

Today I was working on some freelance work... I closed everything down and went to lunch... came back and tried to start Photoshop... it acted like it was going to start... went through all the plug-ins, etc. but then when usually the program comes up... it just didn't. No error message, nothing... just quit working.

So I uninstalled it... reinstalled it... didn't work. Uninstalled it... reinstalled it on my D Drive... didn't work... now InDesign still works, but not Photoshop.

Can anyone help me? I have a huge project due tomorrow and need to get this figured out...

Here comes the broken record again, sounds like your preferences files are corrupt. Immediately after launching Photoshop press the Ctrl-Alt-Shift keys, Photoshop will ask you "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings File?" Say yes and you should be back in business. Reinstalling Photoshop won't replace these files.

Let me know if it works.
