Help - PDF Document Keeps Typing in Chinese or other Asian Language

I received a PDF from an outside source and it keeps typing in Chinese (or other Asian language). I tried to create a fill in form using the PDF and all the fields type one character in English and then by the second character get hijacked by some kind of Korean typing overlay.

I went back to the original form, and if I just start typing on the keyboard -- no obvious fill-in fields -- I can start typing Chinese characters right over the body of the PDF.

Weird. I've never seen this.

Any ideas are welcome. Google searches turned up nothing for me.

Not much information to go on. If you are opening the document in Adobe Reader go to File|Properties|Fonts tab and see what the document is encoded in. If it's some odd font not installed on your PC it may cause this behavior.
