HELP! Outlook97 getting "stuck" with any operation. NAV just install

HELP! I have installed Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition on many units in our company. On Friday, one of my operators was having trouble with her Outlook getting "stuck". Meaning terminal hourglass, until CTL-ALT-DEL. She had 105 messages in her inbox alone, I advised, delete some of these. I thought that might be the problem. This morning (Monday) my Outlook97 is behaving exactly the same. Terminal hourglass. Has anyone else experienced this?
The NAV may not be the culprit, by is my suspision.

With Outlook closed, try Start-Run

outlook.exe /regserver

and hit enter. Perhaps the anti-virus messed with Outlook's registry and this should re-register it properly. Come to think of it, you may want to end task on the virus checker prior to running regserver.
